Nanometer Tech.In Silica Industry

Nanometer technology is a new material technology rising in the last ninety of the twentieth century . It has influenced widely, popularly and deeply on current developing of the material technology, upgrading of the industrial product and people`s daily life.

1. Nanometer Technology In Glass Industry

The main technical theory is to plate a layer of Nanometer TiO2 light-catalyzed thin film on glass, so it becomes transparent and hydrophilic and also has some distinct functions. Currently, it mainly applies on :¡± Nanometer Self-Cleaning Glass¡±, ¡°Nanometer Self-Cleaning Toughed Glass¡±, ¡°Nanometer Self-Cleaning Laminated Glass¡±, and other industry fields.
This type of light-catalyzed active glass attracts ultraviolet-light and visible-light, and gradually degrade the stained oil on the surface of the glass. The hydrophilic TiO2 film lower the surface tension of the glass, so the rain drops will smoothly run down the surface without trace. Both the hydrophilic raindrop surface run down effect and the light-catalyzed oil-degraded effect formed the Self-Cleaning effect of light-catalyzed active glass.
Another tempting feature of Nanometer Self-Cleaning Glass is the nearly perfect optical characteristics. It has very low penetration rate at the spectrum near ultra-violet and infrared red zone, but very high penetration rate and visible light spectrum. This is just the ideal spectrum the window glass needed, also it can be used as light-screening glass and low-radiate glass.
The thickness of Nanometer film ¡Ü0.2u, and the average diameter for granule is 20nm.

2. Nanometer Technology In Construction Materials Industry

The main technical theory is to plate a film of Nanometer materials on the materials or the products, to give it new characteristics, and to make it worked in a way never before has.
