National sources its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) internationally and domestically, direct from producers in the field or from refineries involved in processing raw mix or associated gas from crude oil production. Domestically, third party processing provides National with a vehicle through which untreated field production of natural gas can be processed, benefiting both producers and pipeline operators through improved logistics. Internationally, bulk shipments of butane, propane, pentanes and such, are delivered to facilities where National maintains existing working relationships and agreements.

National will utilize advanced technical facilities on the US East and Gulf Coast employing technology that includes plants for isomerization processing, petrochemical applications, or products blending (e.g., gasoline). Technological breakthroughs in the natural gas sector have led to vastly improved storage and updated transportation pipelines and seaborne carriers. This allows commercial natural gas concerns to import and export natural gas with efficiency not attainable in the past. Greater quantities can be transported in a more cost effective manner. New vessel technology for compressed natural gas (CNG), utilizing cutting edge technology from land based pipelines will have a cost reducing impact. These ships will serve as both storage and transportation vehicles discharging directly into the land based gas grid via an offshore discharge terminal, offshore platform or offshore buoy. This development offers effective transport of natural gas as an alternative to the established transportation methods of LNG and pipeline.
